Local Woman from Herblein Makes Literary Debut!
Aimee Zaferaan, 25, from the Herblein Commune makes her debut with the novel Is This the End?, reflecting on life growing up in the Commune, the world around her, and the strange relationship between the seemingly irrelevant lives of individuals in society and the greater world around them, to independent studies and the push of corporations.
The plot follows the protagonist Lily, loosely representing the author herself, as she navigates a world of her own trials and tribulations. Though the story still seems a largely undiscovered gem, this author can only hope for more to come from Zaferaan’s career.
