**Story Description**: This book is a disarmingly honest reflection at the end of an unnamed narrator's long life. Sitting on a cliff's edge and looking at an autumn sunset, they revisit memories of their life, all the tragedies and heartwarming moments, all the regrets and accomplishments. "Are you satisfied with this life?" The author leaves the answer up to the reader.

The story follows the research team based at the Pole as they hold out through a Winter that seems to last far longer than they thought it would.
