Linden Fox

After the fire, Linden went out into the wider world and got a new job. And another. And another... To be honest, considering the number of times he had been fired towards the end, it was a miracle how anyone was hiring this man, and yet it was a few years before he finally retired. From home he then became a hobbyist in model railways in a small shed in his back garden. It was only a few weeks before he locked himself inside

Dear Diary,

I had been thinking for a while now that it would be nice to start writing something. I suppose it makes sense that that's what I'd end up doing with my life, given that I was, in some sense, designed to be a writer and a creative. It was so fun to play the authors of the Stories I was running on that fateful day at Alusia, so maybe I would get some of that joy from writing myself.

Dear Diary,

Large, bustling crowds gathered around the town bookstore. Hundreds came from up and down various transport lines linking Hashnorth to the rest of the surrounding Communes.

They had reason to be excited. Today was the anniversary of the release of the hit new novel Ghost In The Pages, and to celebrate, the author was doing a book signing. With how popular it became, no wonder people came here in droves.
I found myself among those crowds, and although I wanted my …

One More Stand

Mario sat back, staring out of the bus window. Alusia was far away enough that all he could see was a feint orange glow where the fire continued to rage on.

The drive to the airport would be a long one, so he began to reflect.

The Headwayer: The Forrokko Report, 14/07/2045

Alusia, the famous formerly-successful corporation hosting an Exhibition of its latest invention, has suffered a horrific tragedy yesterday. And as we find out more about what happened there, the pieces of the puzzle start composing a more and more dark picture. I, Jerrekin Forrokko, have dropped everything to visit the sight of disaster and make light of it for you, the reader.
