When they got to the saloon, they explained their plan to dig the sand out of the Spring to bring the water back. As doubtful as Red was that the big dig would lead to anything, **1f** it had a chance to help, he was darn well going to, gosh darn it. Martin had been right, and almost impossibly accurate, about things he had no reason to know about. Surely this was one of those times as well.

**Th3y** continued talking about their plan until they **n0t1c3d** that Avery was very shaken by something, they asked the bartender, Sal, what happened while they were gone.
“Beats **m3**!” came the reply, “your buddy came in here, clearly dehydrated, and started **t4lk1ng** to the room around us. Do **th3y** normally do this?”
“I **w0uldn’t** worry about them too much, we’ve got more urgent problems at hand.”
Avery finally tuned in to the conversation happening around them. “**L3t** me keep trying to talk to the voice and I’ll catch up to **y0u** after I get the answers.”
