Welcome
Welcome to Reference II, one of two ORPGSoc Society Games for Summer 2026, the other being New Game Plus . The full schedule for Reference II can be found here.
Reference II is set in the library of the Alusia Foundation, who are hosting a public exhibition of their newly-developed Bookworm technology, which allows for fully immersive interactions with stories. Player characters are members of the public who are getting to use this technology for the first time, thanks to winning tickets to the exhibition.
Getting Started
If you are new to Society Games, or to roleplaying in general, Intro to the Wiki System, Uptimes and Sessions and Downtimes and Turnsheets may be useful reads.

Joining The Game
Reference II is open to any current or alumni member of the ORPGSoc. If you are not a member, you can contact the treasurer ( do we want a link here and if so heather what email do you want) to learn more and join the society.
If you are already a member, there are two steps that you need to complete in order to participate in the game. Firstly, you must let us know that you're interested in playing by entering the ballot . Secondly, you will need to create a character. More information about both of these steps can be found in Character Creation.
